US veterans tour Ireland for bonding and healing through golf

Keep an eye out for these US veterans as they play golf and head from Rosapenna to Carne, Mount Falcon Estate, Enniscrone, the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Galway and the Galway Bay Golf Resort, all with the support of Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland, over the next few days.

Already in his late fifties before designing his first 18 hole course, there is little doubt that his legacy lives with us today.

Royal County Down leads Irish entries in Golf World poll

Royal County Down has been ranked third in Golf World’s Top 100 courses in Great Britain and Ireland, the highest of the 21 Irish entries in the poll.

It means that Ireland is the most prominent region in the rankings with almost a quarter of the entries being on Irish soil, more than Scotland and the prominent North West coast of England.
