In Spain, John Kelly gave himself a boost ahead of next week's Q-School when he shot the lowest individual score of the week at the PGAs of Europe International Team Championship.

Kelly, David Ryan and Peter Martin all shot four under par 68s to give Ireland the best score of the day, clinching a share of fourth place at Roda in Murcia.

Tour card hopeful John Kelly continued his red hot streak of form in the PGAs of Europe International Team Championship in Spain.

The St Margaret's man fired a three under 69 at Roda as Peter Martin carded a 72 and David Ryan a 73 to leave Ireland tied for sixth entering the final round.

Seven under par for his three rounds in Murcia, Kelly is "very happy" with his form as he prepares to tee it up in the second stage of the European Tour Qualifying School next week with Padraig Harrington's brother Tadhg on his bag.

That leaves the Irish trio in a four-way tie for second place with Wales, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates on one-under par 143 with England out in front on seven-under 137.
