John Kelly was the best of the bunch again but Ireland still slipped eight shots behind leaders England after the second round of the PGAs of Europe International Team Championship in Spain.
Set to to tee it up at the second stage of the European Tour Qualifying School next week, Kelly shot a second successive two under par 70 at Roda Golf in Murcia with David Ryan adding a 74 and Peter Martin a 76.
With the two best scores to count each day, defending champions Ireland are now tied for seventh with Austria on one under par 287.
England lead by two shots from Wales on nine under par 279 with France and the Netherlands six shots off the pace on three under.
