Dublin Journalists Golf Society raises €12,000 for The Red Door School
The Dublin Journalists Golf Society vice-captain Peter O’Hehir was delighted to present a cheque of €12,000 to The Red Door School in Monkstown, Co Dublin following the Society’s recent Charity Day at the picturesque Carlow Golf Club.

Golf Digest Ireland's Top 100 courses for 2015
It's time for the annual "debate" over the Golf Digest Top 100 rankings and while there will be many who disagree with the order, it has to be said that the readers had a big input this time with 80 golfers from an entry of 2,628 having their views heard.

O'Driscoll and Knightly take Carlow and Kerry scratch cups
Muskerry's Jean O'Driscoll captured the Carlow Ladies Senior Scratch Cup on Saturday, edging out Lucan's Molly Dowling and Ballinrobe's Shannon Burke by a stroke on 152 with international Lisa Maguire, back in action again after her Leaving Certificate, taking fifth spot on 155.

 Alan Thomas is bidding to become the first man to successfully defend the Midlands Scratch Cup since Padraig Harrington did it 19 years ago. Dungarvan’s Alan Thomas is highly fancied to become the first man since Pádraig Harrington to mount a successful defence of the prestigious Midlands Scratch Cup which tees off at Carlow tomorrow.
