Bossert and Quiros share Jersey lead - Irish trailing
Ireland's quartet of challengers failed to break par as Switzerland’s André Bossert justified his decision to resist the lure of a tournament on home soil as he posted a four under par opening round of 68 to share the lead with Juan Quiros in the Acorn Jersey Open.

O'Sullivan is eighth biggest European Senior earner
Denis O’Sullivan might not have won for eight years but he is now the eighth biggest earner in the history of the European Senior Tour.
The 65-year old former Irish Amateur Close champion finished his 15th season in the senior ranks by claiming a share of 36th alongside Des Smyth in the season-ending MCB Tour Championship in Maurtitius.

Smyth five off the pace in Mauritius
Des Smyth is five shots behind Spain’s Miguel Angel Martin following the opening round of the European Senior Tour’s season-ending MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius. As Smyth, 25th in the Order of Merit, posted a one under 71, Martin fired a six under par 66 to establish a one stroke lead at Constance Belle Mare Plage.

Sensational O'Sullivan eclipsed by Luna
Denis Sullivan had his best European Senior Tour finish for eight years at St Andrews.
