More than 200 golfers teed it up in a special scramble at Skerries Golf Club on Friday to celebrate 100 years of the Kinsella family’s involvement in professional golf.

The top female amateurs in the world are in action in the Women's Amateur Championship at Portmarnock this week, but when it comes to paying homage to women in golf, a new book by golf writer Dermot Gilleece beautifully captures their role in Jimmy Kinsella's life.
