Sharvin joins legends with perfect Close win

Picture by Pat Cashman Just five years after taking up the game, 20-year old Cormac Sharvin from Ardglass Golf Club beat Greytsones’ Paul Dunne by 1 hole to claim the AIG sponsored Irish Amateur Close Championship at Connemara, writes the GUI.

Connemara Championship Links. Leinster golfers have captured every major Irish title so far this season but any one of two dozen players could walk away with the coveted AIG sponsored Irish Amateur Close title at Connemara.
