At the DP World Tour’s Danish. Championship, Conor Purcell was six shots behind Marco Penge after and opening 70.

Penge carded a seven under par 65 with 2023 winner Rasmus Højgaard leading the home charge just two strokes behind at Furesø Golf Klub.

Dermot McElroy opened with a 74.
