Sugrue chasing Clutch Tour win at St Mellion

James Sugrue shot a second successive 70 to go into the final round three shots off the lead in the Clutch Tour’s Motocaddy Masters.

The Mallow golfer made five birdies and three bogeys at St Mellion to share third place behind David Hayes and Joe Brooks.

Tyler Hogarty (level), John-Ross Galbraith (three over), Niall Kearney (three over) and Paul McBride (four over) were the only others from the 15-strong Irish contingent to make the cut.
