Donegan remains on track for card at LET Q-School

Aine Donegan carded a four under 68 to go into the final round three strokes inside the all-important top-20 and ties at Final Qualifying for the LET’s Lalla Aicha Q-School in Morocco.

The Lahinch star (23) is tied for seventh place on 10 under with 43 players, including Olivia Mehaffey, positioned within five shots of the top-20.

France’s Agathe Laisne, Poland’s Dorota Zalewska and the USA’s Anna Morgan share the lead on 13-under par in an event reduced from 90 to 72 holes after heavy rain.

Laisne shot an eight under 65 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech, the more open of the two qualifying venues, where Morgan shot 67 to join her in the lead.

Donegan, who closed with a three-putt bogey, made six birdies at tree-lined Royal Golf Marrakech, where Zalewska posted a fine 66.

Mehaffey shot a two-over 74 in the same group as the Co Clare woman to slip to 40th on four-under, three shots outside the top 20 and ties.

Castlerock’s Annabel Wilson shot a one-over 74 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech to share 89th on one-over, leaving her eight shots outside the top-20.

London-based Canice Screene was a shot further back in joint 99th after a two-under 71 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech.

The fourth and final round gets underway at 9:30 am local time with the top-20 and ties earning Category 12 status for the 2026 LET season.
