Leona Maguire won twice and Olivia Mehaffey was unbeaten as the Continent of Europe came back from a 4-2 mid-afternoon deficit to lead 6.5 to 5.5 at the halfway stage of the two-day Vagliano Trophy match at Malone.

Four Irish players have been named in the senior and junior Vagliano Trophy teams to face the Continent of Europe at Malone near Belfast from June 26-27.

Cork's Claire Coughlan-Ryan has been named by the LGU as captain of the Great Britain and Ireland Junior Vagliano team to play a Continent of Europe side at Malone Golf Club in Belfast in June next year.
