Douglas’ James Walsh fired a two-under-par 69 to win the first Munster Senior Cup Alliance outing of the season at a wet and windy Muskerry.

Douglas’ Peter O’Keeffe is looking to put his 2019 runner-up finish behind him and claim another amateur major after battling his way into the semi-finals of the North of Ireland Amateur Open at Royal Portrush.

Douglas’ Karl Bornemann stormed home in 32 as he closed with a one-under 69 — the low round of the day — to finish second in the European Seniors Championship at Golf de Morfontaine in France.
