Ballymena's Dermot McElroy got the 2019 PGA Europro Tour season off to a rip-roaring start when made seven birdies in a bogey-free 66 to lead The IFX Payments Championship at Brocket Hall
Guy Woodman, Conor O'Neil, Chris Gane and amateur John Gough were a shot back on five-under after 67's with Royal Dublin's Niall Kearney tied for ninth, just three shots behind McElroy, after a four-under 69.
