Six players gain their place in the field for the event, which is supported by Sport Ireland, through their Challenge Tour categories.

Gary Hurley, Chris Selfridge, Kevin Phelan, Ruaidhri McGee, Cormac Sharvin and Gavin Moynihan will tee it up while Neil O’Briain will also get a start through Team Ireland Golf.

Three amateurs, Stuart Grehan, Robin Dawson and Colm Campbell will also take their places in the event thanks to Team Ireland Golf.

Dermot McElroy, Reeve Whitson and Brian Casey have opted to compete on the EuroPro Tour instead of travelling home for the Challenge Tour event.

Casey's place has been taken up by Kevin Le Blanc while the event also features resident professional Mark Murphy, Rory McNamara, Mark O'Mahony, amateur Mark Power and Naas' Conor O'Rourke, who will be making his debut as a professional.
