Foursomes is almost an art form and if you’re looking for some serious preparation for the Barton Shield, you should enter next month’s 36-hole Dublin Scratch Foursomes at Grange.

Generously sponsored by Keegan & Meredith Insurances, you will be up against some top class interprovincial and international performers at the historic Rathfarnham venue on Sunday, April 12.

Arguably the leading foursomes event in Leinster, past winners include world amateur No 42 Gary Hurley, who has been victorious with both Co Sligo’s Barry Anderson and Esker Hills’ Alan Lowry.

The defending champions are Alan Condren and Eddie Lonergan and entries close on April 4 at 4pm.
