Tour round-up: McGee and Shaw cut; Grant strong; Power lurking

Catalan golfer Jordi Garcia Pinto leads in France

European Challenge Tour —  Ruaidhiri McGee and Gareth Shaw missed the cut as Challenge Tour Rankings leader Jordi Garcia Pinto moved into position for is first win of the season in the Najeti Hotels et Golfs Open at Aa Saint Omer.

The Girona native currently leads the rankings by just €807 over two-time winner this season, Moritz Lampert of Germany, but is yet to win himself in 2014.

The Catalan carded a six under par 65 to take a two-shot halfway lead on six under but McGee could not build on his performance in the Lyoness Open in Austria last week and missed the two over par cut by five.

Set to make his Irish Open debut at Fota Island next week, the Derry native shot a five over 76 to finish on seven over, a shot behind Shaw, who added a 75 to his opening 73 to end on six over 148.

Europro Tour — Stephen Grant finished tied for 25th on four under par, six shots behind winner Garrick Porteous in the FSC Invitational at The Astbury.

The man from The Heritage had two birdies and two bogeys in a level par 70 while The Island's David Rawluk shot a 73 to finish tied for 38th on one under. Scores 

Porteous closed with a four under 66 to finish tied on 10 under with South Africa's Darryn Lloyd (64) and England's James Maw (69) before winning the £10,000 top prize with a birdie at the second extra hole.

eGolf Professional Tour — West Waterford's Seamus Power is on track for yet another good week on the eGolf Professional Tour.

He shot a six under 66 in the third round of the Forest Oaks Classic at Forest Oaks Country Club to go into today's final round tied for seventh, just three shots behind leader David Watkins.

Power has one win and five top-six finishes from his first seven starts of the season and tops the money list. Here's the breakdown of his season.
