Walker grabs Irish Club Professional title

Leslie Walker grabbed the Irish Club Professionals title after a play-off on his home track.

The Dubliner saw off Peter Martin and Mark Staunton after they had finished on four under for 36 holes at Dundalk.

Walker was only marginally happier than South County's Raymie Burns.

The Ulsterman had the first albatross of his career at the 507-yards 10th hole - his first hole of the day - on day one.

Burns holed a four iron for a blistering start to his tournament but had to settle for 11th place after a pair of 72s.
