Ronnie Delany passed away yesterday at the age of 91. His gold medal run in the 1500 metres at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne remains one of the great Irish sporting successes of all time. But when it comes to golf, a two on the shortest par-five in the world remains his proudest achievement.
