Ireland captain Niall MacSweeney says he was disappointed but is excited about the future of Irish golf after Saturday’s runners-up finish to Italy in the Men’s Octagonal Match in Spain.

Golf Ireland has today confirmed that 21 players will form the 2023 Men’s and Women’s High Performance squads. Twelve men and nine women have been selected, and they will form the backbone of Ireland’s international squads for next year.
