Purcell launches new Yoplait Ireland sponsorship for Amgen Irish Open
Conor Purcell continues his bid to retain his DP World Tour card in Belgium this week but he's already looking forward to September’s Amgen Irish Open at The K Club.
The Portmarnock rookie recently joined Paul Gillmon, Championship Director of the Amgen Irish Open and Deirdre Lowry, Senior Brand Manager of Yoplait Ireland to announce details of a new three-year partnership for the event.
“I’m delighted to see Yoplait SKYR come on board as a partner in this year’s AMGEN Irish Open as it is something that I ordinarily enjoy every morning as part of my high-protein breakfast plan already,” said Purcell, who has signed up as a Yoplait Brand Champion.
“I’m sure that attendees will also be delighted to avail of complimentary breakfasts at the Yoplait SKYR Breakfast Bars over the course of the event too.
“Naturally, I’m very excited about playing in the Irish Open in September having qualified under my own steam this year – it’s always a great event and this one will be special for me.”
The partnership will make Yoplait SKYR the official Yogurt of the Amgen Irish Open event which takes place at The K Club from September 4-7.
Purcell, who finished tied for 22nd in the 2023 Amgen Irish Open at The K Club, will sport the Yoplait SKYR logo as part of a new sponsorship agreement.
As an official sponsor to the Amgen Irish Open, Yoplait SKYR will enjoy high-visibility across a broad range of associated multi-media in addition to strong brand exposure opportunities across the course of the event in September.
