Walsh in the hunt as LPGA Q-Series reduced to 72 holes

Lauren Walsh has a fighting chance of winning on her LPGA Tour card after officials opted to reduce the weather-affected 90-hole battle for 25 cards to 72 holes.
The third round of LPGA Q-Series Final Qualifying was suspended due to unplayable course conditions at 9:05 am local time and while play resumed at 2:30 pm local time, Walsh was unable to finish her third round.

The good news is that she was one under par for her first five holes on the Falls Course at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Alabama and up to joint 42nd on level par, two just shots outside the top 25 who will be awarded cards
Due to the weather, which washed out the opening day, this tournament has been reduced to a 72-hole event with the goal of completing play before the end of the day on Tuesday, December 9.
There will be no cut, with the top 25 and ties at the conclusion of play earning their LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season.
