Solid starts for Irish quartet at LET Q-School

Irish golf’s quartet of hopefuls made solid starts in the weather-reduced Lalla Aicha Q-School in Morocco.
Olivia Mehaffey opened with a two under 70 at Royal Golf Marrakech as Annabel Wilson posted a two under 71 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech to lie just outside the top 20 and ties who will win cards.
With the reduction of the tournament to 72 holes following Tuesday’s suspension due to heavy rain, there will be no cut.
Canince Screene shot a one-under 72 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech Lahinch’s Aine Donegan posted a level par 72 at Royal Golf Marrakech.
The top-20 and ties following the conclusion of play will earn Category 12 status for the 2026 Ladies European Tour (LET) season.
According to the LET “maximum efforts will be made to complete this minimum, even if this requires extension of the competition into Sunday 21 December.”
