Grehan claims top prize in Flogas Irish Scratch Series at Powerscourt

Tullamore’s Stuart Grehan rounded off 2021 in style when he carded a four-under 68 to win the final Flogas Irish Scratch Series event of the year at Powerscourt’s West Course.

The former South of Ireland,  East of Ireland and Mullingar Scratch Trophy winner came out on top on a wet and windy Wednesday as 70 players took part in the sold-out event.

Grehan pocketed the €500 gross prize by two strokes from Jordan Boles, who edged out Marc Nolan after a countback.

Darragh Rochford took the nett with a 72 off two with six handicapper Kevin Murphy second with a 74.
