West of Ireland tee-times

The 17th at County Sligo

Royal Dublin's Barry Anderson will tee off his defence of the West of Ireland Championship on the fearsome 17th at Rosses Point.

The Sligo native will be joined on the tee for the 9 am shotgun start Rosslare's John Brady and Castle's Alex Gleeson while last year's runner-up, Jack Pierse, is out in the afternoon wave for the 2 pm start.

The Portmarnock man is in the second group out on the par-five 12th at 2.10pm with Stuart Carter from The Heritage and 2016 champion Jonathan Yates.

The leading 64 players are 36 holes will go through the matchplay stages, which begin on Sunday, culminating with the final on Tuesday afternoon.
