Graeme McDowell has other things on his mind than the Ryder Cup or the FedExCup after he missed the cut in The Barclays at Bethpage State Park's Black Course.

On getting a pick from Darren Clarke next Tuesday he told one of his twitter followers: "I'm think I'm done unfortunately. Would have loved to be there."

He also wrote: "Disappointed to miss weekend at #Barclays. New driver misbehaving. Rest of game right there. Time to go home and have my baby boy #winwin"

He's looking forward to the birth of his second child with Kristin Stape. WeeMac is due to be delivered by C-section on Monday, just before he heads to Boston for the Deutsche Bank Championship.
