Rory McNamara was 29th as Germany’s Martin Keskari retained the Open Tazegzout with a two shot win over countryman Patrick Kopp.
Defending champion Keskari shot rounds of 69, 70 and 68 to win by two strokes on nine under par with Germany’s Stephan Gross and Dutchman Robbie van West, third on six under.
“This is definitely one of the most beautiful courses we’ve ever played on in Morocco!” Keskari said of Tazegzout Golf, which is located 20 km north of Agadir in Morocco:
“The greens are pretty hard and fast, the layout is very diversified. That’s just my line!”
McNamara made one birdie and three bogeys in a two over 74 to share 29th on two over and earn €343 while Stackstown’s Richard Bridges had two birdies, three bogeys and three double bogeys in a 79 to tie for 48th on 10 over (€130).
The EPD (Pro Golf) Tour continues in Morocco from March 6 with visits to Casablanca for the Open Tony Jacklin and Open Casa Green.
