A further €500,000 is being committed to improving the clubhouses, pro shops, locker rooms, driving range and restaurants at both clubs.

Corballis Links in Donabate was first used to play golf in 1906 and over the years, the links has attracted golfers from all over the world, including Bernhard Langer, who used to play there prior to the Irish Open.

Elmgreen Golf Club is an Eddie Hackett parkland design,  just off the M50 and only 20 minutes from the city centre, offering spectacular views of the Dublin mountains.

Marty Carr, CEO of Carr Golf, said: “We see this as a really exciting time for Elmgreen and Corballis Golf Clubs and hope that members and guests enjoy this new journey with us as we strive to dramatically improve their experience and present a far superior golf course, facility and service.

“Improved communications and engagement with members will also ensure they are kept updated of club initiatives at all times.”
