Three handicapper Brendan O'Malley continued his good form with a victory in the Rabo Direct sponsored Hilary Golf Society outing at Laytown and Bettystown.

Fresh from his victory in the IPGA Tankard in Royal Dublin on Saturday, O'Malley shot a 69 to beat Clem Walshe (5) from Dundalk by virtue of a superior back 9.

The team winners with an impressive score of 57 were Greg Cooke (St. Anne's), Daragh Curran (The Links Portmarnock) and David Foley (Royal Dublin).
