South Africa's Branden Grace soared to a sixth European Tour victory as Peter Lawrie, Michael Hoey and Damien McGrane finished down the field in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

A spectacular eagle two at the par four 16th hole helped Grace separate himself and close with a 66 that allowed him to finish on 19 under par, one stroke better than Scotland's Marc Warren, who narrowly missed for a birdie (and a play-off) on the last.

Grace, 26, drilled a driver to around five feet at the 16th to go two clear and never looked back.

But it was a quiet weekend for the Irish with Lawrie closing with a pair of 73s to share 46th spot on four under, earning €10,173.

Hoey was 52nd on three under after a 71 with McGrane a shot further back after a 72.

As for Grace, it was his second win of the 2015 season following his victory in the Alfred Dunhill Championship and his sixth in jut 54 European Tour starts since the 2012 Joburg Open.
