Ulster are in a strong position in the Boys U15 Interprovincial Championship after two wins from two on the opening day at Castlewarden, writes the GUI.

In the morning session Ulster had to overcome a determined performance from Connacht before prevailing 3-2, while in the afternoon they overcame Munster on a scoreline of 4-1.

They go into Friday's match with Leinster knowing a win will see them retain the Championship they won in 2013.

Leinster are the nearest challengers to Ulster on 3 points following a 3-2 win over Ulster and a draw with Connacht.
