Rafferty make cut in US Senior PGA
Former European No 1 Ronan Rafferty produced a battling back nine performance to make the cut on his major debut in the US Senior PGA at Harbor Shores in Michigan.
The Warrenpoint native was six over par for the championship with holes running out but he carded level par 71 to make it on the four over par limit. Scores
He's eight shots adrift of a six-man group out in front — Bart Bryant, Colin Montgomerie, Denmark's Steen Tinning, Bernhard Langer, US Ryder Cup skipper Tom Watson and Japan's Kiyoshi Murota.
