Padraig Harrington is down to 14th in the world - a drop of 11 places in the last 11 months.

But there was also been a slimming down at the company Harrington backs with Dermot Desmond - U4EA.

According to Ian Kehoe in the Sunday Business Post, U4EATechnologies, "a British technology company with ties to Irish golfer Padraig Harrington", has gone into administration:

Columb Harrington, a brother of Padraig, recently resigned as a director from three companies in the group - including U4EA Limited and U4EATechnologies - according to documents filed with the Companies Office in Britain.

He also resigned as a director of U4EA Ireland, an Irish registered company.

Harrington was appointed chief executive of the company in August 2000. Paul Dawson, the company’s chief financial officer, confirmed that Harrington had resigned. Dawson said he was not in a position to discuss the appointment of the administrator toU4EATechnologies. However, he said that U4EA Ltd continued to trade.
