Harrington on the move in New Orleans

Padraig Harrington moved up the leaderboard in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

The Dubliner signed for a two-under par 70 in the second round at TPC Louisiana, mixing five birdies and three bogeys to get to three-under par.

Open champion Harrington opted to skip last week's WGC-CA Championship in Miami and play twice before next month's Masters.

He will continue his preparations for Augusta in next week's Shell Houston Open.

American Briny Baird fired a 69 to take the clubhouse lead on eight under par, one better than Aussie Peter Lonard (70).

Overnight leader Dean Wilson fell back with a one-over par 73.
