McIlroy flies with Dazza air

Rory McIlroy will fly to Madrid on Darren Clarke Airways for next week's Spanish Open.

The Holywood hotshot, 17, will hitch a lift to the Spanish capital on Clarke's private jet on Tuesday.

McIlroy is quickly changing into a mini-Dazza with a personalised number plate at the top of his birthday wish list.

The world's No 2 amateur says he'd love the the reg - ROR S - for his 18th birthday on May 4.

The problem is that it costs £5,000, which wouldn't be a problem for megarich Clarke.

The Ulsterman, 38, will be in Ireland on Monday to open his exclusive Champions Club design at Moyvalley near Enfield in Co Kildare.
