Keith Nolan is on course to win back his PGA Tour card.

The Bray man, 34, fired a second round 70 at Stage Two of the Q-School at the Woodlands in Texas to share eighth place on three under par.

Muskerry's Niall Turner is also in with a chance of making the finals later this month.

The Cork ace Turner had six birdies in a 68 at Lake Jovita in Florida to share 18th place on five under entering last night's third round.

Kerryman Mark Murphy has work to do after slipping to tied 24th after a 74 at TPC Craig Ranch in Texas.

The finals will be played at the Winter Garden in Florida from November 28 to December 3.
