McIlroy wins Faldo Series

Rory McIlroy cruised a six-shot win in the Faldo Series Under 17 finals at Celtic Manor.

The Holywood hotshot closed with a two under par 68 at the Roman Road course with Donaghadee's Gareth Boyd tied fifth in the under 16 section.

Portrush's Stephanie Meadow won the girls title by three shots.
