East Cork’s David Ryan carded a four-under 66 to win the delayed 2021 PGA Southern Championship at Monkstown Golf Club.
The Cork professional won by one stroke from former European Tour winner Damien McGrane from Carlow Golf Club with Ciaran Molloy (Golf4Kids), Eoin O’Connor (Kilkenny Golf Club) and Tim Rice (Limerick) third with level para 70s.
Shane Jenkinson (St Margaret's Golf & Country Club) was sixth with a 71, Sean O’Donoghue (Mount Wolseley Golf & County Club) seventh with a 72 as Brian McCormack Jnr (McCormack Golf Ltd), Cian McNamara (Monkstown) and Cian Geraghty (County Louth) rounded out the top 10 with 73s.
Brian Keogh
