Harrington, Power and McGee seek US Open spots on Monday

Pádraig Harrington, Seamus Power and Ruaidhri McGee are amongst the 685 hopefuls who will battle for 80 US Open spots at nine final qualifying sites around the USA on Monday.
The number of players to progress at each venue will not be decided until play is underway but final qualifying offers a host of players from Major winners to tour stars and young college players the chance to be at Torrey Pines South Course next week.
Harrington tees it up at Brookside Golf & Country Club and The Lakes Golf & Country Club in Ohio, McGee will try his luck at The Bear’s Club in Florida alongside the likes of Walker Cup star Alex Fitzpatrick and PGA Tour stars Luke Donald, Branden Grace, Lucas Glover and Alex Noren while Power tees it up at Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta.
More than 9,000 players began the qualifying process at 18-hole local qualifiers across the USA last month.
Two sectional qualifiers have already been held with Ryo Ishikawa the top dog in Japan as college stars Matthias Schmid of Louisville and Matthew Sharpstene of West Virginia were the joint winners at the weather-delayed Dallas Athletic Club where 2010 champion Graeme McDowell withdrew when out of contention in order to get to Colonial Country Club for the AT&T Byron Nelson.
