Lough Erne and Lucan tops in Australian Spoons

Lough Erne's Harmini Hamilton and Christine Fitzsimmins won the Australian Spoons Trophy at Portarlington.
They claimed the nett prize in the popular greensones event with 42 points to win by one point from Castletroy's Maeve Skelly and Colette Kenny with Carlow's Paula Hughes and Michelle Nolan third on 40 points.
Lucan's Molly Dowling and Sandra McCaffrey won the gross by three points from Tralee's Mary Scully and Margaret Hayes and Balbriggan's Amanda Williams and Frances Shaw with 31 points.
