John Ross Galbraith finished tied sixth in the PGA EuroPro Tour's IFX Payments Championship at Brocket Hall to keep his options open in the quest for a place in next month's Dubai Duty Free Irish Open qualifier and the chance to compete in the $7 million Rolex Series event at Lahinch.

The Whitehead golfer closed with a four-under 69 to finish five strokes behind winner Todd Clements on 11-under par with Dermot McElroy (72) and Niall Kearney (75) tied 14th, Stuart Grehan (73) joint 41st and Joe Dillon (73) tied 44th. Scores

The leading 15 players (to a limit of 80th place) on the 2019 PGA Europro Tour Order of Merit at closing date of entries (June 14) can tee it up in the DDF Irish Open qualifier at Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort from June 29-30.

So while the Moyvalley event clashes with the Europro Tour's Golfcatcher Championship, Galbraith (T5), McElroy (T13), Grehan (T40), Dillon (T43) and Neil O'Briain (61st) are eligible right now to head for Moyvalley to battle for one of four places in the field for the $7 million Rolex Series DDF Irish Open at Lahinch from July 4-7.
