Arenas leads by two at Grange

Seventy-year-old Beatriz Arenas from Guatemala shot a second successive, eight-over 82 to take a two-stroke lead into the final round of the Irish Senior Women’s Open Strokeplay at Grange.
She leads on 16-over par from Grange’s Sheena McElroy and Gigi Higgins from the USA, who carded rounds of 83 and 85 respectively on a day of high scoring.
Overnight leader Sonja Bland from South Africa carded a 92 and trails Arenas by six strokes on 170.
The cut for the top 42 and ties fell at 192.
