McCarthy three clear in Leinster Students Championship

Stackstown’s John McCarthy shot a level par 72 to take a three-stroke lead into the final day of the Leinster Students Amateur Open Championship at Killeen Golf Club.
He leads on three-under-par 141 from Thurles' Aaron Ryan with Royal Portrush's Jamie Knipe a shot further back on one-over.
UCD leads the team championship by 12 shots from Maynooth University (A).
