Leinster remain on course to claim the Women's and Girls' Interprovincial titles for the second year running after wins over Munster on day two at Castle Dargan Resort.

In the Women’s matches, Leinster beat Munster 5-3, claiming all three foursomes before overcoming wins from Munster's Sarah Cunningham and Aideen Walsh in the top two singles matches with victories by Maynooth University Scholars Meadhbh Doyle and Clodagh Walsh.

Ulster beat Connacht 6-2, claiming the three foursomes before easing to victory in the afternoon as Emma Forbes beat Hilary Hall and Louise Coffey halved with Shannon Burke. Kate Gallagher earned a lone win for Connacht as she triumphed over Jessica Ross on the final green.

Leinster now have two wins from two and face Ulster, who are also unbeaten, for the title

In the Girls' Interprovincials, Leinster beat Munster 6-2 and go into the final day against Ulster seeking a clean sweep and their second successive interprovincial championship.

Despite wins for Munster's Anna Dawson and Corrina Griffin in the foursomes and for Niamh Dwyer against recent Leinster Girls’ Champion Anna Foster in the singles, Leinster proved too strong in the end, winning the four remaining points in the afternoon.

The suprise of the day was Ulster's 5-3 defeat by Connacht, who won the foursomes 2-1 before Ada Bowler, Chloe O’Connor and Annabel Greham claimed their singles and a hugely encouraging win for the girls from the western province.
