Massereene's Ewan McArthur shot a one-under 71 to lead the qualifiers in the Multi Cargo sponsored Leinster Boys U16 Amateur Open Championship at Beaverstown.

He's one ahead of Strabane's Conor Byrne, Portmarnock's Michael Fitzgibbon and Cregmore Park's Paraic McGrath with the cut for the top 45 and ties for Friday's final round falling at eight-over 80.
