Castlewarden’s Lauren Crowley Walsh moved up to tied ninth heading into the final round of the Women’s Individual Strokeplay at the Youth Olympics in Argentina

She fired a three over 73 in round two at Hurlingham Club in Buenos Aires to lie eight strokes behind Australia’s Grace Kim and Italy’s Alessia Nobilio on eight-over par 148. Scores

Kim shot a 69 and Nobilio a 72 to lead by two strokes from Austria’s Emma Spitz on level par 140.

In the men’s event, Athenry’s David Kitt added a 78 to his opening 80 to lie 28th on 18-over par 158. Scores

Australia’s Karl Vilips added a 68 to his opening 69 to lead by one stroke from American Akshay Bhatia (69) on three-under 137 with Thailand’s Vanchai Luangnitikul third on one-under after a 70.
