Tim Rice returned to the winner's circle for the first time since his Irish PGA Championship success at The Kelly's Resort Rosslare Pro-Am on Saturday.

Winner of the Irish title in June, the 39-year-old signed for a three-under par 69 to share top spot with Damian Mooney and Tara Delaney at the Co Wexford links.

The trio finished the tournament - which raised funds for Wexford Hospice Homecare and St Patrick’s Special School - a shot clear of Richard Kilpatrick (Banbridge GC) and Michael McGeady.

Denis O'Sullivan (La Playa GC) and amateur partners Patrick Barrett, Stephen Lucas and Clement Hehir topped the team standings with 92 points.
