Lurgan's Annabel Wilson beat French duo Margot Béchadergue and Elisabeth Codet but must now see off a third girl from the host nation in the final of the Cartier Trophy at the French Under 21 Girls' Championship at Saint Cloud in Paris.

She beat Béchadergue 4 and 3, then outlasted Codet to win on the 21st and set up an encounter with Elsa Ettori-Douard in today's 36-hole final.

Kanturk's Mairead Martin fell in the quarter-finals of the Esmond Trophy to Sweden's Beatrice Wallin by 3 and 2.

The Swede went on to beat Italy's Carolina Caminoli 6 and 4 in the semi-finals and now goes against compatriot Amanda Linner in today's 36-hole final.
