Lindberg shot a three-under 69 to win by two shots from Daniel Rodrigues and Guido Migliozzi on 10-under at National Golf Club in Belek and top the Asian Swing Rankings to earn his spot at Aronimink alongside Bernd Wiesberger and Jordan Gumberg.

"I felt dizzy and I felt like I want to throw up," an emotional Lindberg said. "It's a dream come true, really. I've been dreaming about this for so many years."
