Hole-in-one boost for Lowry in Houston

Shane Lowry celebrates
Shane Lowry added another hole-in-one to his impressive collection at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Desperate for a confidence boosting result in his last start before the Masters, the Offaly man aced the 170-yard second at Memorial Park.
Tied for 34th on five under overnight, the hole-in-one catapulted Lowry into the top-20 on seven under.
It was a welcome moment of joy for the 2019 Open champion.
He double bogeyed the 72nd hole to throw away a chance to win the Dubai Invitational in January, then blew a three-shot lead with three holes to play in the Cognizant Classic four weeks ago before going on to miss the cut in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship.
Lowry has become something of a hole-in-one specialist in recent years.
He's also aced the 16th at Augusta National in the Masters, the “island” green 17th at TPC Sawgrass, and the iconic seventh at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Got it done in ONE ☝️@ShaneLowryGolf with his FOURTH hole-in-one on TOUR @TCHouOpen.
