Golf Channel extends DP World Tour rights deal until 2030

Golf Channel and the DP World Tour have announced a multi-year extension of their media rights agreement.

It means Golf Channel remains the exclusive television home of the primary men’s professional golf tour of the European Tour group in the US.

As part of the multi-year agreement which runs through 2030, Golf Channel will present live coverage of all DP World Tour events each year, representing nearly 600 hours of live tournament coverage annually on the network.

"If you're a golf fan in the U.S., there's something very right about starting your day with your first cup of coffee and the familiar sights and sounds of the DP World Tour," said Tom Knapp, Golf Channel Executive Vice President & GM.

“Beginning with the Dubai Desert Classic in 1995, the quality competition and international flavor of the DP World Tour has been with us. We belong together."

Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive Officer of the DP World Tour, added: “With this long-term renewal, fans of the DP World Tour in the US will continue to have coverage of every tournament and never miss a shot as we travel around the world. Golf Channel has been a long-term partner for three decades and this agreement underlines their continued commitment to showcasing golf’s global Tour.

“We had a truly memorable 2025 that will go down in history as one of our greatest season’s ever – reflected in stellar viewing figures in the United States. We therefore start our fourth decade of partnership with excellent momentum.”

The International Swing of the 2026 DP World Tour season begins this week with the Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort, in Dubai, UAE.

The DP World Tour schedule includes five Rolex Series events, beginning with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (Jan. 22-25), the Genesis Scottish Open (July. 9-12), the BMW PGA Championship (Sept. 17-20), and two playoff events; the Abu Dhabi Championship (Nov. 5-8) and the DP World Tour Championship (Nov. 12-15), where the 2026 Race to Dubai Champion will be crowned.
